Terms of Service
The rules for sharing moments, running your squad, and using Lowlights of the Week.

Using Lowlights of the Week
These Terms of Service apply to lowlightsoftheweek.com and its related app and Discord features (the “Service”). “We” and “us” refer to the operator of Lowlights of the Week. By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Contact us at info@lowlightsoftheweek.com.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 13 and meet the minimum age required where you live. If you are under the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf. Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. Do not impersonate someone or use another person’s account without permission.
Keep it friendly
The Service is for lighthearted moments among friends. “Homie court,” “guilty,” and similar labels are game mechanics, not findings of criminal wrongdoing or statements about a person’s character. Do not use the Service for harassment, bullying, threats, hate, stalking, doxxing, sexual exploitation, or unlawful activity. Do not upload intimate content without consent, sensitive personal information, malware, or content you lack permission to share. Respect a person’s request to stop targeting them.
Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content as needed to operate the features you use, including squad views, votes, recaps, evidence delivery, and enabled integrations. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload clips, images, names, and information about others. This license lasts while needed to provide those features and handle necessary retention, backups, and legal obligations. It does not transfer ownership to us.
Squads, sharing, and integrations
Squad members can see content shared with their squad. Administrators manage members, settings, and optional public sharing. Public leaderboard links may reveal player names, avatars, and standings to anyone with access to the link. Files delivered through a CDN can be accessed by people who obtain their URLs. Email and Discord recipients may retain or reshare copies. Do not upload confidential material. Discord, payment, and other third-party services have their own terms.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Free and paid features are described in the app. Premium is currently $5 USD per squad per month, plus any applicable taxes. A paid subscription renews automatically until canceled. The billing administrator can manage or cancel it through the billing page and Stripe portal. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Refund requests can be sent to our contact email; mandatory consumer rights and any terms disclosed at checkout apply. We will communicate material price changes before they take effect for an existing subscription.
Evidence and availability
Free-plan uploaded evidence is scheduled to expire after 30 days. Paid-plan uploaded evidence is retained while the paid plan remains active; after a downgrade, files older than the free retention window become eligible for removal. Removal may take time to process. These file limits do not mean case records, votes, or externally hosted files are deleted after 30 days. Keep your own copies. Features, storage limits, integrations, and availability may change, and maintenance or failures can interrupt the Service.
Moderation and ending access
We may restrict content or suspend access to address violations, security concerns, abuse, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Service at any time and contact us about account closure or removal of your information. Closing an account does not necessarily remove content others have already received, lawful records we need to retain, or information another user independently submitted. Contact us to report harmful content or intellectual-property concerns and include enough detail to locate it.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of user submissions and automated summaries. AI-generated recaps can be inaccurate; do not treat them as factual judgments. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the Service changes. The date on this page identifies the latest version. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or another appropriate channel. For questions, billing issues, abuse reports, or requests about your account, email info@lowlightsoftheweek.com. Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal data.
